What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Thanks for the info. I installed the clear turnsignal lens last night and installed the switchback leds. Love'em! I'll post a couple of pics with the differences.
Did you have to remove any tupperware to get to the marker bulbs?CA790519-32C7-4CEC-AEE6-5B7930EC3D49.jpeg5F75D1C5-8CD9-4D10-951D-F48708C28961.jpeg2D7A5F4A-CA99-4EAE-877E-FE3A11EE4EE7.jpeg

Yes the side cowels need to be removed that's the hardest part of replacing the marker bulbs

Unless you prefer to remove the windshield, and down to the gauges to get to them.... :think1:

I was replacing the headlights (One of my LEDs had burnt out) "in the field" - at my motel. The gauges were just sitting there waiting for me to go get new ones. With the gauges out of the way, you can get to the headlights or the running lights.

Or have someone with slender arms. My daughter installed both the headlamps and peanuts LEDs from the top of the fork tree

$200 with an extra wheel chock. I removed the one that comes the lift as it was in the way.
I figured that after i sent the message. Like duuh! Lol. Thats a really good price. They are reduced in the HF flyer. $300 off now $299. Convert that to CDN. I liked the lift at Iron Horse (Columbus, Oh) $799. All silver anodized steel . . . I think. Fancy. However no way to bring it home at that time. I do drive truck and i pass by the HB in Evansville, In from time to time. Ill check EBay too. Thanks

If you have a munchkin available! :rofl1:

I have to say my not so masculine digits do come in 'handy' for fiddly jobs like replacing ST bulbs, been there at least 3 times now, my preference is reaching in from the bottom of the headlight cowl. Taking half the front tupperware off must be the Honda approved method

Yeah, just replacing the standard bulbs, that's how I got to them also (with my hands - which aren't that small!). But because there is a bit more with the LEDs, it just wasn't practical!

Holy crap!!!

Found my turnsignal was a bit 'sticky' or spongy. Sometimes couldn't get the left sig to engage. Took the assembly apart, cleaned and lubed with dielectric grease. Good as new!:thumb:

Walked to the unheated garage and checked the cover, battery tender and patted her on the seat. Supposed to get above 10* today...

Oh I get it this is where we recycle our old bulbs[emoji41]. Tats a lot of research there

Checked coolant level in the radiator, it’s full. Easy method, left side, reaching up from below.

‘Cuse my lack of mechanical prowess, but topping off the rad fluid bottle (on the left side on ST1300) isnt all that’s necessary?

You can't do that on a ST1300!

But as long as you did the coolant change right on a ST1300, checking the bottle is all that is needed!

I too find that going from underneath is quicker to replace the headlight bulbs on the ST,
but then I have had a bit of practice trying different bulbs over the past few years.....

Hey Paul, maybe you could take all of those fans, place them on some sort of mount and have a wind farm? :rofl1:
