What did you do to / ride to with your Beemer today?

I'm of the understanding the GT is hard to find in some sizes, raising consternation among some.
I couldn't find the front when I was ready to put new shoes on the ST, but then went double dark anyway.
Unofficial consensus, from what I've seen, is just go with the 6 if you like 'em. I do like the Road 5s and the Road 6s.

It's just a Michelin Road 6 not a GT. Do you guy go with the plain 6 or the Road 6 GT?
from the michelin site, claims they beefed up the 6

MICHELIN® 2CT+ Technology™, which has been standard on the rear tire, is now applied to the front tire for better rigidity at lean, and more stability when cornering, especially under strong acceleration or heavy braking, compared to the previous generation.

I’ve put 63,xxx miles on non GT Road 5 or 6s on my RT. Most of the time I ride it with a top box but w/o saddlebags so it’s right at 600 lbs full of fuel. Nothing but non GT Michelin Roads since I’ve owned it.

Mine has always been dead on but I had no idea it could be adjusted with a GS911.

Hmm... Interesting thought. My GS is always 3 mph off and while I know that and can do the math, I wonder if this is doable thru the MotoScan app. I don't have a GS911 to try it out.

Nope, just a gs911 function.

Need to hook the 911 back up after the last update to see if the function is included now. Not a beta tester, Joe, so that might explain why I didn't have it when I hooked it up a few weeks ago.

Rode my new to me '13 RT back from guys house that sold it to me.tempImagenTFiuY.jpg
A good wife makes life grand. I think that if you are staying down south into the spring you might be looking at a shorter windshield.

Thanks Sadisor. I agree it's a solid sport tourer.

Think if I was staying down south into the spring I would find a way to get the Moto Guzzi down here.:) Not that there is anything wrong with the RT and this one is really nice but I'm still smitten with the V100.

50k miles 2 owner full service history and really mint. I'm not sure I will be able to ever get it this clean again. Put 150 miles on it today just a nice pleasant bike

I rode through the Central/SoCal version of a bomb cyclone on my GS yesterday. Thank dog for Gortex, but my keester got wet through my almost new Aerostich pants from sitting on a wet saddle for hours. Not pleasant.

Shoutout to Uncle Phil for the heated gloves suggestion. I didn’t realize how much difference they made until I swapped out for my normal winter gloves when they got a bit damp and hard to put on.

Took the Ferret's advice and went for a 37 mile ride before Thanksgiving dinner. Still searching for good roads down here. I know there's one somewhere.
