ST1100 Anti-Freeze Leak

Should I 'force' the tensioner pulley up more (it appears to be fine) or let it be where it came to 'rest'?
No, manual says to let it snap in place by the tensioner spring and fixate it there.
Rotating it over by hand (plugs removed) as suggested by @dwalby is an SOP to confirm that there is no interference and that cams and pulleys arrive back at their marked positions/indicators.

At this point with my experiences, I have a lot more confidence in the timing belt going way over 100K than I do the water pumps! ;)
The big issue is finding a ST1100 water pump if you need one.
If push comes to shove, I believe there is a gentleman on this board that rebuilds them.
I bought this a few years ago as a backup
I will see if there are numbers stamped on the parts to see if they can still be sourced and will update my post.

Unfortunately it seems HappyBikes (as you know also sold the ABS sensor 'upgrade') seem to have gone shut or stopped their ST1100 stuff.

Here's the last link on ST1100 water pump rebuilds that I could find -

The water pump bearing # is WB173007D this seems to be available from different sources for a couple of dollars
The seal is THS 14.20 30.00K. This looks like it’s available at a tractor supply. For a couple of dollars

Hi Kiltman,
Can you advise me of any site that lists that bearing - I have spent hours trawling through bearing suppliers, but cannot come up with that particular number.
Many thanks.

If you prefix each part number with the item, your search will tend to get you a more local source.
Water pump followed by the number
Water pump seal followed by the number
This is how I narrowed it down.
I don’t want to break the seal on the packaging, later today I will get ID an OD of the parts so they can be cross referenced.

Well, I just fired her up and there is no 'green' stuff running down the side of the engine.
And after I synced the carbs with my Flowmeter, she purrs right along so I guess I got the timing belt set right.
Now I've got to reinstall all the bodywork and stuff before I take her out for a road test.
Special thanks to @John OoSTerhuis & @ST1100Y & @dwalby for their help along the way.
I'm hoping I don't have touch this stuff again on this ST1100 until another 100,000 miles! ;)
Since I've had water pumps fail at 130,000+ and 140,000+ miles I plan on changing water pumps when I do the timing belts from now on at 100,000.

Just got back from a little 300+ mile test ride and she runs fine, engine temps working as normal.
Still got to fuss with the throttle cables some as I don't have them working exactly as I want them to (bike has McCruise installed which does add a level of complexity to the adjustment because of the CIU).
I did use Evans Waterless Coolant in this one which makes two of the four ST1100s using it now.
As I do water pump/timing belts on the other two when the mileage comes, I'll swap them over to Evans.
