I should not be! Been out here for quite a while. Im usually up at 4:30 when im touring anyway. No big deal at all. Apparently there is a propane shortage, and im having trouble finding it, so im drinking lukewarm coffee, trying to stretch the propane.
this trip has been riddled with little nit picky hassles, but i really dont give a damn. The gas stations all sell coffee now.

Mickey D's has the best cheap coffee, about $1.50 for a medium. When I can't make my own, I hit them up. Ain't now way I'm popping for $5 cup gourmet stuff.

How geezer am i? I always eat the bottom ov my bagel first, eat my french fries with my fingers and am insulted if you dont have malt vinegar, and my burger with a fork and knife!
I think I'm the only one left that uses white gas camping gear anymore, everyone went to propane, but I never understood what was wrong with the white gas to begin with. Is it yet another ultra-safety thing, we might blow ourselves up with an unsealed liquid fuel container?
thanks for the heads up though, I just called to have my home propane tank filled just in case they jack the prices up if the supply drops.

I am sure you are aware, but look out for Bears and Buffalo when you get to Yellowstone. They are big and mean and really don't care much for tents. Personally, I avoided camping in Yellowstone when I rode there in 2014. At the very least, get yourself a can of good quality Bear Spray to keep in your tent at night. Just a thought!

Im in jackson now. Had so much fun on 89 i forgot the pics. Gonna find a tent spot and all ill have with me for the bears is some dry coffee. I hope they are not coffee drinkers the place im hoping to camp is 9 mi n and just off the road. Free. Im about 125 from yellowstone and the tetons are right here. It would b a shame to not see them.
