Yeah, I lost a 3-week-old Galaxy S10 that way, off a RAM X-clamp that had NEVER dropped a phone before.gotta tell you, Oregon is wicked polite! even little bumps, they put a sign up that says “bump”! Well, i wish they had capitalized the one i finally hit! there goes my phone, off the bike and under the wheel of a oncoming car. $350 and 2 1/2 hours in the phone store. ouch!

Fell off whilst raining, took me 10 minutes to turn around and finally find it. Had bounced across 3 lanes of traffic, and been run over xx times, total loss.
I use an elastic band around the S21 in the X-clamp now; won't make THAT mistake again!
