Post RideForCambodia...SEA ride continues

That catamaran sail boat tour commanded quite a bit of video time so here is another that's ready for viewing without any edits or music.

I am trying to get the Windows Movie Maker in my tool bag to be able to get the fat out and add the music that will bring the experience up closer to what we felt while sailing these spectacular waters of Phuket, Thailand.

Again, Thank you Smash for the use of the GoPro. I need you to PM me your address so I can send it back to you.

These short videos are few compared to the many that'll need editing.
Here is a moment where nothing much is happening yet it is all happening in the moment.
We are crossing open water from one island to another in Phuket under full blown sail and wind power.

Thanks Smash for the GoPro loan

We stopped at many of the spectacular islands in Phuket while on the catamaran.
Here is another clip I thought warranted a post without any edits.

I am trying to indicate the height of these vertical cliffs which might have been 2 to 3 hundred meters. I also am pointing to our little sail boat in the bay.

So when I thought the ride of a lifetime was about to an end it just gets better, you are still sharing amazing pics and vids, very nice thanks, I couldn't think of a better combo trip: bikes and a sailboat.
What an adventure you enjoyed indeed!

Thanks, Jose. I am really glad you are enjoying this stuff because now I am entering into the new adventure of EDITING the many hours of videos I have accumulated. I filled my laptops 220 Gig hard drive with GoPro videos mostly. I dare not post videos raw at this point since they are way to long and much of it is not going to be very entertaining to the viewer even though we had a ball gathering it.

I am just now exploring the anti-intuitive properties of Windows Live Movie Maker and the edit capabilities of YouTube. I really want to get the fat trimmed off these videos and add some music and proper fades but it ain't goin' happen soon. I'll put somekind of test case up ASAP.

I see there are long sections of uneventful riding with a few seconds of something cool happening. I don't want to bore you with the long waits in between the meat and potatoes. Let the data mining begin. :)

Stay tuned! In some ways the tour is just beginning thanks to Smash's GoPro loan.

Good on ya, Danny. Keep'em coming.

I still have a ton of pics to go thru,,, too busy taking new ones right now. I'll never catch up at this pace. :D
