Pictures of different ST police bikes?

Very progessive department. I've heard nothing but good things about them and have enjoyed every interaction I've had with one of their deputies.

These STs (11 & 13) were on display during August last year ['07] on the showroom floor of 'Honda of Cool Springs', Franklin (near Nashville) TN. Very nice crashbar set-ups, eh?

Tennessean Uncle Phil - member of this forum - is the thorn between the two roses BTW! ..

Nice bikes, good decal set up, (Yes interesting engine guards on the 11 too) but those top boxes...yikes:scared2:

Here is our bike. We used a cheap sticker company and got, well, cheap stickers. We've since changed companies, again, and the stickers are the same look but with bolder colors and better quality.

Just kidding! LOL! Here is our set up...BTW, That pic of the bike stuck in the sand is amazing! How did [he] manage to get the rear tire that stuck without the front tire first plowing the way? Maybe I'm just used to Florida sand where it's completely possible to get your bike stuck with the front wheel only...And what type of windshield is that he's using? A V-Stream maybe?

Just a few months ago I went to IPTM's police motorcycle instructor school. A fellow from Georgia (Fulton County, I think) brought one of those types of HD's to the school. That style was before my time on motors but I do recall officers riding those when I wanted to become an officer and get on motors myself. Aside from the "chug-chug-pop" Harley sound and shake that bike rode and performed better than the Road Kings I was accustomed to. Still, not much of a comparison to the ST. I'll be getting my 09' ST around January 16th. :bow1: I can't wait. Never have I been so impressed with a police bike than with the ST. You can ride it hard and put it up wet with no negative side, figuratively speaking that is. LOL! I usually dry it off when it gets wet that is...

I remember those early motorcycle helmets.
Civilians wore Harley hats.

Those look like some serious risers on the ST.I had MCL risers on at one point but I don't remember them raising the bars that high.Really like the paint job too.

Sam

I know one of the Richardson ST1300's went down in an accident on Central Expressway last year...or so...
Did the department replace that bike? I used to see these bike all of the time....and now only occasionally.

Thanks

Forest

First for 2191...those are FXRP's...gave the KZ1000 a run for it's money. GREAT motor. Well for H-D!:p:

For Forest... That Motor that went down on US75 was totaled. The officer fully recovered and got a brand new ST, but he has since moved on to another unit. The team has fluctuated, but they are out and about...Just tasked with a lot of duties/assignments. Be glad you don't "see" them...:D

Stock that I am aware of and... Please tell me you like the ST scheme...LOL:p:

Actually the ST-P does come with 1" risers. They are factory Honda but you'll have to get a "parts guy" who knows their job in order to find them on the computer. I found them for a buddy who owns a 06' ST. Aside from the controls on the bars and the risers there is little that is different from the civilian bike to the cop bike.
