Pictures of different ST police bikes?

stuck honda1.JPG

Here are a few pics of my work bike. This is what happens when you try and go off road in soft dirt?

For a minute there I was going to ask you where you found the cool lowering kit for your ST... then I read your quote... oops... bummer!!!

Came across these guys at the Government Camp rest area OR last summer.

Nice road shots.(Was that the break in period before it went into service?) Looks like you guys are doing the BDU thing too.

I'm a LEO in Longview, Washington with 31yrs on and a 7 months and counting count down. I have an 2003 1800 VTX and a new 2007 ST1300. Still looking for that perfect seat for mostly one up riding as my wife rides her own 900. Any suggestions for a bad lower back? I like the harder seat but haven't decided with this new riding position if I need a driver's backrest yet. What are you guys sitting on all day long? Steve Rehaume

Somewhere in the threads is a guy who will re-work your ST seat. As far as back support, there is no one I know of that uses one on the LEO side.

Come on down to California Steve and bring your seat (LOL!). Borrow a bike from Hollister Honda (ask for Fred), right down the road from Corbin. Enjoy a meal, watch the gliders come and go as they fab a custom one to your specifications. You pick the hardness, softness or combo, the main and trim colors and style of leather, and everything else (want heat? They got it). Give them a shout ahead and make an appointment. It's an hour from San Jose airport- make a fun weekend out of it and go wine tasting in Napa on Sunday. My Busa and ST have seats from them- and its all about the custom work to your liking.

Hey NorCalBusa...RUB IT IN BROTHER...:p: I REALLY lament sometimes that I never considered being a California motorjock...:poPoST1::D

All this Police talk is good, but we all know that even Cops want to grow up to be Firemen!:bow1::biker:

Fire bikes from Malaysia. One of my goals during my career is to start a motor unit in my FD....wish me luck!

Yup "Opticom" NICE addition to any police motor. Never seen it mounted on the front, just on the engine guards. I like the flags too...and WOW LONG time since I have seen someone carry a straight stick...:D

I want one of those Opticon thingies for my pickup...ya know- "testing and evaluation for the motor units we build".

LOL...our Med units leave them on frequently...I think now it's their version of a "Code 2" run with out all the red/blues flashing. :p:

And it should be a standard on any motor...:D
