Yes, and the metal garbage cans woke me up in basic.....Back when you had 3 channels on the huge wood console that held the 25” B&W TV in it, with rabbit ears! If you had a PBS station, 4 amazing channels! You as the child were the handy remote too!

1975 I bought a New Dodge dart Swinger Special (not the hatch back) refused the cigarette lighter option for $50.00. Went to K-mart same day and bought a lighter for $2.50 and installed it myself. took about 30 minutes.
