Old Enough To Remember?

I am sure this has been addressed earlier in this thread, but where did the name Pee-Chee come from.

Had some time and read through this thread . . . what a great collection of memories!

The most recent Wyatt Earp movie was on TV this weekend and the song from the TV series with Hugh O'Bryan immediately came to mind. "Wyatt Earp, Wyatt Earp, brave courageous and bold, long live his name and long live his glory and long may his story be told."

Fun fact: The real Wyatt Earp, after moving to California, became an advisor to western movie makers and greatly influenced development of the genera. One young actor, whose career was just starting idolized Wyatt and brought him coffee and enjoyed listening to his first hand accounts of western adventures. He thought so highly of Wyatt that he adopted Wyatts western drawl and staggered walk. Marion Morison became a big star in his own right, more popularly known as . . . John Wayne.

Remember fishing etiquette? You know. find a sweet spot, get there first, it's yours - no questions asked. The crowds grew, people on a whim went fishing, it got bad. Shore fishing, catch a fish and immediately had three boats power over and fish on top of me. Been pier (ocean) fishing, caught a fish and immediately surrounded by kids tossing lines on top of mine. Had a bass boat toss a line under my boat. Thing is, they missed and tossed it in my boat. Ok I'm a grumpy old man, but s**t, them were the good old days!

Remember the Streaking craze
In my earlier years we had a guy in the car who decided he wanted to streak the Der Wienerschnitzel in Lubbock, TX. drive thru.

Weiner for weiner?

So we pull over to the side and he jumps out naked as a jaybird to do his streak. We'll meet you on the other side.
The other side ended up three blocks down the road. Could have been some alcohol involved.
