I Didn't Want To Say Anything Until I Was Sure. . .

I removed fairing to properly install the USB charger. I also tried my hand at undoing some of the mounting insanity of mismatched bolts and missing push pin fasteners. I failed. All I succeed in doing was moving fasteners around. I did get the front side "wings" mounted more securely and I am faster at taking it to bits but it's still a mess. The fact that it was thrown down at some point in the past didn't help and is actually probably why it's in the shape it's in.

Let me just add one more thing to my old thread.

"What a great bike!"

I have not been riding far, just local errands and to the gym and back. I am waiting on parts and when they get here I will have the fuel pump back out. I will also be trying to fix the FI air sensor code but I I just have to say this is bike is so much fun. Even low speed, it just likes to go around corners. She is a big girl but she can dance! My buddy is a motor cop and he has been giving me some pointers on low speed cornering. I have not yet worked up the nerve to make a fill lock turn but I am getting there. I have mastered the right side mount and dismount. This would have made things a lot easier when I had my Guzzi Quota. Live and learn.

You betcha!
For some it may take some practice, but I love whirling through the MSF u-turn boxes. (Figure 8's, to some.)
At least for me, it is VERY satisfying to be able to handle this big bike in tight spaces. There's lots of lean angle available on the 1300s.
