How fast have you had your ST?

Shhhhh it'll be our secret
205km/h or 127mph....rock solid. I think it had more but I was running out of road.
Exciting but nothing compared to my old 1986 FJ1200.....160mph
Just one of the many reasons I don't have a bike like that any more.

145 147 if i remember right bike would not go any faster friend was behind me with his gps and don't put your wind shield up

113 on the GPS. Two lane out in the desert. Little bit of poofy, gusty wind. Didn't feel good to stay there too long.

Sounds like a lot of fun to go that fast on an ST. Have to wait to get one to find out.

My new bike is governed to top out at 300km/h (186 Mph) so top speed will have to wait until I can get a new power commander and other little parts to fix that. So far I have only had it up to 280 kph indicated, which I am sure includes a bunch of error.

Sure is fun though! I know that with my last Kawi GPZ1100 turbo, a bit of playing with boost rates, and a few sprocket changes would get me to wind the speedo WAAAAY past the highest indicated speed.

Passed a cop at that speed, never did stop to find out what he actually recorded me at. :D

OP

ive had mine peged and still going, cant say where, but it was at 160 on the lowrance XOG i usually stay around 110-120 on the interstate just for the hell of it lol

a friend one day said he saw a blue flash go buy at around a buck twenty but
i'm still not sure what he was talking about.
i do know these things are hard to keep the within legal limits.:D

138-140 kinda hard to look down, white lines going way too fast. In NJ, road goes through a military base, straight run with high barb wire fence on both sides for a couple of miles, no deer! Just guys flying bye in the other lane doing wheelies, insane. No wobble

Indicated speed of 144/5, so that's about what? a 137 or so. :sbike1: Lots of interstate, no trunk, empty bags and windshield down.
The wobble problem bothers me, but I think it has more to do with loading and a top box. I know that I would not try anything much above 90 if I were loaded for a trip.
It has suprised a couple of Big Dog riders with 117c.i. vee's. With no helmets, and straight pipes they could'nt see or hear much past a hundred.:nanner1: I guess it really was'nt a fair race. But it is fun to mess with the handicapped:nanana1:
