Yeah, I'll be washing up after dinner, with my back to the room. Kids are making noise, water is running, TV is on. And she's talking to me from across the room. Then when I say "what?" she insists I need hearing aids......

I'm glad I'm not the only one that suffers this.

The hearing aids are a great cover. 'Sorry, the batteries must be dead'.

I worked a part time job delivering tv's in high school. Those were hernia inducing to take up and down flights of stairs. In addition to water being wet, solid wood is heavy......

That was one of the perks of the jobs, tv's that were being scrapped were taken to the dump where we threw rocks through the front of the screen and watched them implode
