Clear lenses for the front turninglights ST1100

I used some white foam I found at Home Depot. Sticky on 2 sides. Not sure it's necessary.

You can probably get something suitable from Princess (I always see that outfit from guys up north) that will work fine. I found a roll in the section near the paint/bodywork stuff at my local chain. If nothing else, it keeps things snug and potentially less susceptible to loosening up. Wind whistling? Who knows? Find out and add it later if you want. The lights are easy to get out of the housing. It's the removal of the lenses that's the work.

Did those of you that completed this mod source & reinstall new foam gasket around the assembly? Is it necessary to prevent something like scratching the mirror housing?

Hi ad got the lenses yesterday, very nice and thank you very much. What do I need to use to seal them with?

When I removed my old lenses I used hot water from a kettle to loosen up the glue. Then while it was still soft I pushed the new lenses into the slot. Added super glue in a couple of spots. Worked great. Can't see any glue.

Nothing for the backside.
