His wasn't blue when he posted that he could not message another member, it was gray. When someone first joins thier screen name is gray until the approval process has been fully completed, then it turns blue or green. You rarely see this as the approval normally happens quickly. Until it does there are greater restrictions on what that member has access to.

Green is because I contribute to this site monetarily. Give it a try- No advertising.
 
I second going “green” it’s the bast way to keep a place like this alive.

Out of interest- if we can’t get clear indicator lenses is it legal in the UK to ride around with the amber indicator lights permanently illuminated? they can be wired to flash when needed for indicating
 
Been doing some homework on this. I believe we could create resin-cast lenses for replacement. It won’t be cost-effective for any form of large scale production, but will likely do in a pinch.


I was thinking about my tail light as well. Not trying to make the bike something it’s not, but give it a stand-out look.

Ad doesn't frequent this site. He dropped in to advise he was making clear lenses for the 1100. He's dropped in a few times to answer questions and advise on the status of production. Outside of that he doesn't spend any time here.

I don't remember the name but I believe belongs to a forum back home in the Nederland. He talked about a group he's with that replaced the LEDs in the 1300's dash with brighter (?) and different color LEDs. It's be mentioned here somewhere but my search-fu is weak.
