Canned Heat, Going up the Country. Steppenwolf, Born To Be wild. Some Robin Trower or Doors for the darker side. I still listen to the old stuff mixed in with a bunch of Motown. Blue Oyster Cult is still doing concerts....I think. Saw them what seems like a few years ago

I went on the roof with my dad to help him install a new antenna and rotator for channels 6, 8, and 12 for our new Olympic color TV and a UHF converter for channel 23.I had a boyhood friend with a electric antenna on the roof, they were pretty well off though
I still remember only a single station within reception range. And it didn't broadcast all day sign -on and Farm Report at 5am, random broadcasts 'til midafternoon. local and national news....30 minutes each.....and network programming 'til 11pm then signoff. They began filling the dead space with newsreels which gave-way to network broadcasts over time.
