What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

Trust me, it will be worth it!
I rode her for a few miles and realized she was NOT properly cared for.
Then, I found this website and a gent who reached out and is as OCDC as I am about my bikes (IGOFAR).
I’m looking forward to the end product and I’m sure I’ll get there.

That's almost my story. I did a lot of the regular maintenance items. My St-1300 had been the subject of much neglect. I got it running, got some new tires on her and started riding while I wait for more parts.

Put my ST1300 into the storage garage after MSTA STAR24 in Kerrville, TX last week. It needs cleaning, but the time to do it will have to wait…
Those TX hill country roads were FUN!!

Yesterday and the day before and maybe part of the one before....I replaced my Audiovox CCS-100 cruise control with a brand spanking new in the box (bought in 2009 during closeout sale for $30) Audiovox CCS-100 cruise control. Turns out these things are only good for about 431,000 miles on an ST1300. The one I installed in 2009 when the bike was just a week old has been on the fritz lately. I think the only thing wrong with the old one was the speed control switch panel. I tore the old one open to check for leaks inside on the rubber diaphragm. It looked like new and is way thicker than I expect like .050" thick rubber. I replaced everthing except the brackets bolted on the throttle assy.

I had all the side panels, the tank off, filter box out and above the headlight opened. It's been a while since I was in that deep. "New" CC works like a new old one!

I received shipment of a FRONT tire (only) today, but Amazon said my "order was delivered" and no further shipments are coming,
when I ordered and paid for THREE TIRES-- one front, and two REAR. So I made a complaint with Amazon, and the shipping carrier, FedEx.
Their driver took a pic of the one tire on my front porch, but Amazon says my full order was delivered ??!!??

call your credit card co. and stop payment. Make sure you were billed for 3.

Tell them if they have no pic with three tires, the pic with one stands.

Then threaten to (and carry out if necessary) cancel the payment.

Lastly, tell them they can pick up the one tire whenever they want.

Put a cheap helmet lock on the right side tip over bar. This puts it on the high side while on the sidestand, but being so low places it close to the muffler, so I may not leave it there.
Helmet extenders are cheap on Amazon, and work fine with the newer ratchet-style chinstrap on the Neo 2. I didn't think these would work without D-rings, but the only challenge is keeping up with the extender, and I've lost 2 already.
I first put this helmet lock on the GSA, and it fits the luggage rack a lot better, so now I just put the extender on my carabiner key ring.

For my ST1300 I made a helmet hook that I attached to the screw that holds the left bar end weight on. Simple and effective- Just hang the helmet on it and it is up high and away from everything. If I wanted to able to lock the helmet on to it I could drill a hole through it for a padlock.

I made my own but they are available commercially as well. Search for helmet hook.
