What did you do with your ST1100/ST1300 today?

The “story” about how you two raced up to 85mph?
 
1st oil and filter change (love the spin-on, not crazy about the location; will have to jimmy something up to avoid messing garage floor. Hard to position catch pan with center stand in the way…). Then a 200km loop. No leaks and nothing flew off - a good day. :woohoo:
 
Dropped in my local Honda dealership this afternoon. Not for any particular reason, just to look around and see what all they had, as it has been several years since I last stopped in.

They had a total maybe 6 bikes on the floor. I couldn't believe it. Two monkeys, one cbr1000, one used VTX 1300, an Africa Twin DCT, and I can't remember the other. Nothing special though... Last time I was there, granted probably 5-6 years ago, there were at least 30 different bikes. Probably 20 of them new Honda's, and 10 or so used from various manufacturers. Not really sure why the change.

But man. They have a little museum of sorts in the back corner of the showroom. What an awesome walk through time! If you're ever in Asheboro, NC, check it out!

Got new shoes yesterday, Battlax lasted 10,500. Was raining last night on the way home so out today for a scrubbing, and a sandwich, it will be a month before I taste decent bread I fear.

I pushed the 2004 out of the garage so I could get to the Memorial Day/Fourth of July box for Chris. I then proceeded to rearrange the fourth car garage and moved my new No-Mar tire changer in it and the old one as well. By the time I finished with the fourth car garage and the two car garage, I was able to ONCE AGAIN park my truck in the two car garage! :hat3:

And the '04 & '12 are still in the fourth car garage! I LOVE my new garage! ;)

The No-Mar is a SUH-WEET! tar changer.
I've used them but don't own one. Super-cool, makes me feel like I'm special when I can change a tar without sweating.
Especially after changing my own tars with tar irons and inner tubes on the KTM in my driveway.
Yeah, I'd rather use a No-Mar!
 
I got out on a short ride to test the new front pads on my '96 ABS. I wanted a new set for my upcoming trip to Green Bay, and planned to spend $45 per side. But I got out of it for $25 in total for brand new Honda pads, and while I can't figure out why, I also don't really care. The bite is noticeable compared to the EBC, which were fine..
 
I called the white courtesy phone with an oil question and since the goto whisperer recommended supporting the blue I made the change. Valvoline Premium Blue 15w40 and a Bosch 3300 filter. $12 cheaper than my last mother Honda oil change. @Igofar always waiting with baited breath for a question to answer. :biggrin:
