Why I Ride (or Why We Ride)

Each October, I had the chance to do a "Solo" ride while the wife was away with some friends. So, in October 2011, I took a ride up the Cherohala Skyway. It was a very nice day and a very nice ride. Video linked below. You might have to manually select the higher resolution for good viewing. It was recored at 1080P using my Contour HD camera. I miss that camera.

For some reason I did not do much riding in 2012.
I have several other videos from April 3 & 4, 2012.
The only thing is I cannot actually tell you is where the videos were actually taken. There is some of the route information in the videos, like Road Numbers. I will look them over and see if I can pinpoint the routes.
Here is one video which, given the mile markers might be going south on the Blue Ridge Parkway, somewhere around MM 340.
However, at 11:21 on the vidoe I make a right hand turn onto another road. It's not that well maintained but it is really scenic from the point of view of "rural scenery'.

I don't have any good information on exactly where these rides took place except for the information I gathered watching the videos. If you have more information, please feel free to comment and I will update the information.
