I've had the old one for a few weeks, but finally got to pick up a new one on the way back from the RTE in Blairsville, GA. It's at a recreational area on 64, east of Ocoee Lake, near where Big Creek intersects.

Got out for a nice ride today, about 200 miles. A little on the warm side, mid 90s by the time I got home. Possibly the last really hot weekend of the season here. Cold front comes through tomorrow, highs next week "only" around 80.

I'm a little surprised that the tag hasn't been here before, at least I couldn't find that it had been. The location is too easy I guess. But I never would have found it without the GPS. And it sure was a great ride getting there. The smell of the mash cooking was wonderful! I didn't want to leave.

After 3 months, I thought it was time for a new tag. I grabbed the old tag, last week, while out and about on the ST1300. I hope that it's alright if I swapped bikes to place the new tag. Since there are several Roxy theaters, this one's in Clarksville.

Lets try this again, original location At the Roxy in Clarksville, what a nice town . My first time down town , before just on the outer edges. The new location The Wolf River Caf? in Rossville Tn. In west Tennessee. On main street or HWY 194 and just north of Hwy 57. No need to go into the big city of Memphis . ]Great food at any hour and you might meet some fellow riders. There where some twenty or so riders there Saturday a 7 am eating breakfast. Just about 7 miles easy of the Wolf River Caf? is the part of The Wolf River called the Ghost River where the river disappears into a swamp. Every year someone would gets lost canoeing in the 10 mile section of the river and had to be rescued until they finally marked the trees.

OK since it's been more than 6 months, I'm invoking Rule 8 and the tag is now at McGregor Park in Clarksville.

Go early to avoid Bubba from possibly running you over while you're taking the photo!

Well, I know Lancaster but got the pic on the wrong side of town. New tag is what I call the bridge from nowhere to nowhere between Auburntown and Woodbury. Hwy 145 has fresh pavement; sweet little ride.

Old: BridgeToNowhere.jpg New: WattsBar.jpg Because Homeland Security loves it when you take pictures of nuclear plants! :)

Funny coincidence about the bridge to nowhere. Many years ago I bought a V65 Sabre from a guy in Woodbury. Auburntown Road was where I took on the test run. Had forgotten about that until I was on that road again yesterday.

One long day of hot riding!
