Anyone interesting in splitting a room?
I was at the first annual Jack Pine Savage Memorial in Galena when these two guys approached me. One was a big fellow, making his comrade look of gnome stature. They both came up and asked if I was Papa, extended their hands, and that was the first time I met Terry and Putt.
I'm not much of a crier. When I interviewed Terry at Richards Farm Restaurant he got so emotional about Moonshine he was repeatedly overcome. It was just such an honest expression of human feeling. As we were finishing up, I had tears welling up and he laughed. He told me, "Bones, I know you get it" and gave me a bear hug. He had placed his trust in me to tell the Moonshine story. It was a powerful moment. Terry told me Moonshine was about trust.
