ST1100 Revitalization

Chris and I got quite a lot done today. Was able to finish up the front brakes, & install the front wheel and roll it out side for some pictures.

After that I started putting the Tupperware back on. Chris will have it all painted soon, but for now it is a combination of colors.

I rode it down to the caf? and back tonight after I got it all together. Handles and runs nice! We will do the oil and filter change tomorrow and take it out for a run. Then it is up to Bucky's on Saturday for the Tech event.

Done all we can do for now. Chris came over and we finished it up, and went for a ride. :D He rode it home, and we are ready for a good time on Saturday!
 
Well, prepping for the benefit ride this Saturday, I decided to spruce up the st a little. I soda blasted a bit of it. Several of the pieces are badly split enough that I'm just going to buy new (or at least gently used) and have a shop paint it this winter while riding isn't at its best. This also gives me a chance to check out one of the schemes I liked.

Ceramic white and grey. Not too bad for a quickie job. Now I just need to do something about that seat!

Wow! That really changed the look of your bike! Can't wait to see it. With your white helmet and now the white bike people will be slowing down and getting out of your way thinking there's a MC officer behind them!! Just flash the lights a couple times...Hehehe...
 
I may wet sand it to a gloss, but I really like ceramic white as it almost glows.

I had considered one of my other concepts that I called "please don't run over me"

OK, OK, You have got to make me a picture of that in Lime Green! with black lower cowl, side trim, and the bottom of the bags. With the Honda in blue letters!

The neon highlighter/white is an alternate scheme I've considered to the ceramic white/grey I just put on the bike. I photoshopped it to get an idea of what it looked like.

I'm going to keep the white for a bit and see how well I like it. I may pull it apart later in the summer to try the yellow/white/orange "please don't hit me" scheme.
