I have a very tired pair of Sidi On Road Sympatex boots that I dearly love, but I need to retire them. I would like something similar.

I'd like to know what y'all are wearing and why.

Thanks.

Do you know the model? Why did you choose those and how are they holding up?
I bought them for the price ($48.99), the ankle coverage, and the zippers.

They're holding up great. I added zipper pulls to make using them easier.

I found the original listing from Woot. I bought them in March of 2018.

They are called: Smith & Wesson Breach 2.0 Men's 8" Side Zip Boots

Smith & Wesson® Footwear Breach 2.0 Men's Tactical Side-Zip WaterProof ...

Thanks Larry. Nice boots.

Those are on my shortlist. What can you tell me about them from your experience? I think my On Road's are taller which I like, but I'm not sure that makes a difference. Why did you get these over, let's say, the Adventure 2's?

I wear Rocky Cody boots (I call them 'cow kickers') - just plain all leather, waterproof boots.
They are comfortable enough to wear all day (used to wear them to work).
The best part is you can have them resoled - which is nice once you get a pair of boots broke in.

I don't have either of them. I'm still wearing Aerostitch Combat Touring Lite. The Adventure 2 will probably be my next boot. If my Combat Touring ones ever wear out.

I wear a pair of Cody James Decimator Safety Toe Boots. They are a bit on the heavy side but feel great on long distance trips.

My daily footwear are Red Wing 1155's. Love 'em, but I've seen accidents where pull on cowboy boots like these are jettisoned off quite easily. I just don't trust them for riding, but they sure are comfy.

Sidi ALL Roads.......you know why
Yeh, I'd love these boots since they are very close to the On Roads they replaced, but they've been discontinued for awhile and the only pair I saw still for sale were size 48. Rats. Couldn't find any used ones.

The Aerostich Combat Touring boots are incredible. Made by Sidi? Sadly, not available. Not sure when Andy will get these back in stock if ever. The Sidi Adventure 2's are very nice, but the price is eye-watering.

I am wearing my Tourmaster boots that I must have bought 15 years ago. They always impressed me with the fact that they are comfortable bot on the bike and off. I have a lot of feet pain and they have been fantastic.
