Really sorry I missed the temple and circus visits yesterday but i feel much better today. Took a solo jaunt south from Pursat into the dry rice paddies along the Stueng Pousaat River. Got into some real back country (at last), having such a good time I didn't even stop for pics. My little Suz 110 just motored on thru the single track and (dry) mud ruts. Stopped in not-quite-a-village to get water and a young man walked up to ask, "How are you doing?" Enuff English to manage a short conversation. Back on pavement I countinued on to what I presumed would be my turn-around. Coming the other way were 6 of the other guys I had failed to hook up with after dinner, so got to visit their second site at PichBan Village school with them and get some great pics.

Cambodia 2 is up on my Picasa album and 3 is loading now:

Cambodia 3 is up at Picasa

Cambodia 2 was there this morning... now, just Cambodia... both links above are bad...

...so this Buddist monk steps up to a hotdog wagon and says:

Make me one with everything

Just fixed, Joe, they got changed to "Limited" but should have still worked with the link. Anyway, both set to "Public" now. Thanks for the heads-up.

These videos show our ride into a community that has been assisted with infrastructure by Sustainable Cambodia.
We were shown agriculture where the initial seeds were donated along with the training to raise these crops. the rest is pretty much the responsibility of the families running these farms. Same with the oxen shown in vid 2. The first one is donated and the first offspring goes to another family and then the procedure becomes fuzzy to me but they seem to be clear about it.
They run a gas lamp and the stove from a cow manure bio gas collection at the second farm.

Wells are drilled and the families are responsible to maintain the system along with a relatively expensive filtration unit.

A Sustainable Cambodia run school just outside of Pursat where the kids are learning English. Dan, Joe, George and I do our best to teach and entertain them.
None of us knew we'd be getting into a live classroom situation when we arrived at this school, but we went with the flow and improvised.

These kids sure were happy and appreciative of us coming and spending some time with them. I was deeply touched by their show of appeciation.

You're going to have to demonstrate that proceedure, Tip. :)
I'll be ready with the Go Pro ;)

Thanks for all the supportive comments.

Here are some of the shots I gathered from the SC tour of the community and schools. Since we were escorted via scooter caravan, I thought it was a very slick presentation. I certainly get the sence they've done it a time or two before us.

We grabbed a train this morning, quite literally.

Took it to a little village called Bamnak where we unloaded all five bikes. Cost us $25 USD to take us about 40 miles. From there we were on dirt mostly for the rest of the day trying to find Chrok La Eang Water Falls.
