• Start with a City beginning with A
    • This is BY STATE
    • Similar to the Tag contest, there will be one thread per state
    • Post a picture of your bike AND some sign, building etc which clearly shows the city/state you're in
    • The next person posts from a city with the name beginning with B, then C, D, etc
    • You can't posts back-to-back pics, you have to wait for a person to post the next city
    • Once Z is reached, the game starts over with A
    • If your state doesn't have a city beginning with the next letter in sequence, it's okay to skip that letter
    • If the location sits for more than one month, the person that posted that is open to move it to the next letter.

The World Wide game is a bit different as it is by whatever is considered a geographic type of regional category, state/province/village etc. and all those will be in the single World Wide A-Z topic.

ON: A-Z (Round 10)

Traffic cams on ON511 app show no snow near Union, the 1st place I mentioned. But it'll warm up soon. Wait for those days.

Oh on 2nd thought, it looks nice and green there still. Amazing what a difference going a few miles south makes. ;)

Amazing that just 1hour or so north of there, there are hundreds (literally) of vehicles stranded on Hwy11 northbound near Gravenhurst. Some of them saying they've been there 10 hours and counting! OPP reporting 400 semis are unable to move, trapped waiting behind 2 crashed semis. And who knows how many cars. Apparently at least 2 snow plows that are badly needed, are also trapped in the mess.

A similar scenario is playing out on I-90 in NY state.

Yes, and it's being squalling for a few days now. Not at a 80cms a day rate, but lots! ... and we had more over night. Gravenhurst is in the worst shape of places around here apparently.

Lots of reports of people rescued off hwy 11 by snowmobile to buses taking them to safety of church basements, city hall etc. Hwy 11 was closed from just north of Orillia to beyond the Bracebridge exits. I think it's re-opening in stages now.

We have some blue sky showing thru now but power is still out almost everywhere.

I saw pictures of downtown North Bay taken yesterday. No snow! Crazy how localized streamers can be, and apparently they are shifting south now. Hope they're light for y'all, or miss completely.

At home we probably have less than 2 cm but 13 km east in Exeter they had 3 or 4 times that. We were talking to my sister this morning, they have a place outside Gravenhurst, and they have had hydro on and off since Friday and said they have never seen that amount of snow at the cottage.

We had a tad more than a dusting. :redface-2x:

OMG, you do that driveway with a walk behind snowblower! Wow, I would have a small tractor with a larger snowblower attachment.

On a side note you guys really brought your game and started collecting letters after my September post of the "Y". Here we are just a few months later and we're coming back around to the W.

Normally I can do it in half hour, the snow over most of the length just blows away and I need to clear near the house and at the road. I use to get a neighbour to do it but I kind of like doing it because it forces me to go out and be active.
