Old Enough To Remember?

Wow... memories indeed.... of course there was Space Patrol, Fireball XL5, Stingray..... and more...

I was smiling at the Dr Who celebrations of 60 years.... remembering the very first episode, which was repeated the following week before the second episode..... in black and white of course!

The last of the many, Sadly Mum in her infinite wisdom chucked them all out about ten years ago. From 1960 to 1975. Beno, Buster, Dandy and loads more, all the christmas books I carefully saved. All gone, except this last one....:

Slammer, I too lost a lot of stuff that way including a complete run of TV21 comic (it would be worth a fortune today), but I have still fared a little better than you with this haul:

1964 to 1973. The Christmas annuals were a staple and were treasured.

TV21..... One of my christmas present was a Zero X, it was beautiful and magnificent and I loved it and mum chucked it away during the purge.

OK. I’m older than you but I don’t know what it is.
These came with canvas bag for delivering newspapers. That wheel was used to cut the wire holding the paper bundle by putting it in the notch and going back and forth. The Saturday bundle was a thicker wire due to the TVguide and comics. They got tired of us tearing newspapers by trying to wiggle out the middle ones out of the bundle.

OK sounds like a good idea.
I don’t remember having one when I delivered papers.
