Old Enough To Remember?

Typing seemed to be an easy few high school credits, and who knows might be a good thing to know, well who knew how useful, I sure didn't. If you were in grade 11 or 12, you would have moved up to the brand new electric typewriters, I guess the school couldn't upgrade all in one year so we learned on the manuals and as I understand we were the last students to use them.
Somewhere along the way I aquired an old manual typewriter and we have a few laughs with ghosts leaving messages when the kids are around.

Pre computer our school system didn't take notice of typewriting... we'd to learn shorthand... me in agony on like 5 pencils a minute...

i had typing in the 8th grade on a manual for a few weeks before getting banned from typing class :)

Typing I and Typing 2 in 11th grade, in hindsight . . . the best classes I took in high school. Two semesters of easy A's (which my GPA sorely needed) and no homework. 30 kids in the class with manual typewriters (electric ones weren't invented yet) and . . . I'm the only male! Introverted kid at the time, that's one thing I wouldn't mind going back to do over!
