I'm from Quebec, in the Montreal area.

I bought my 2000 ST1100 in 2020. Very low km also.

Yeah... I'm also jaleous of your garage.

Welcome to the ST Owner's forum. You'll find there is a lot of knowledge and support here. A bit like a virtual bunch of friend in your garage. ;)

I thought I recognized a Bambina. My dad had one when we lived in NZ. Two cylinder hot rod :D . He wasn't happy when I put a hood scoop on it.
 
No, still a wage slave. I actually try to commute on my ST as much as I can.

But if you ever want to go for a ride on the weekend I’m in. I’m relatively new to the island so would be happy to soak up some local knowledge re good roads.

To ride with Trevor you will probably need to attend a Friday Afternoon Safety Meeting. Vancouver Island has some great rides.

This was a couple of Friday's ago...should be a good turnout this Friday.....12 to 20+ show up

When I got to Ontario my cousin talked me into selling it to him and I flew home.
So when I got home I decided to sell my 2022 Suzuki GSXS1000GT that I had put 32,000kms on in 13 months and look for a VFR1200F....more sporty for me....found one....
Anyway sorry for the ramble....last Friday while having friends in the garage for beers I started talking about the 2001 ST I'd seen on market place that day....everyone agreed, I should buy it...lol...so the next day I did....
2001 1100 with 49,000kms (30,000 miles)....a huge list of goodies....Two Brothers exhaust, tank bra, 3 windshields, Corbin seat, Top case, all Honda insert bags, new Wilbers rear shock and
RaceTech fork springs,....the bike is mint.

I also live here in YYJ.
I had a 1994 ST1100 with 180,000 km on it a couple of years ago. It was a bit neglected, so I gave it a refresh with new tires, steering head bearings, fork oil and seals, and a rear shock upgrade, as well as the other usual stuff.
It ran really well, but then I got bitten by the ST1300 bug, so sold it and bought a 2004.
The difference is night and day.
They’re both great, just different. The 1300 obviously more modern with injection, aluminum frame, etc. and the power windshield is just fabulous.

I actually went to your house a few years ago with a buddy from the mainland who bought a GS1100E donor bike from you.
His restoration has been slow but very detailed and nearly complete.

I also followed your cross country ride on FB with enthusiasm. It was great to see the photos and read daily reports from the road.

Thanks...small world eh? Lol....a couple of buddies have the 1300....for me and I'm probably alone on this...I like the looks of the 1100 much better....feel the 1300 looks a little bulbous...hey feel free to come by for a Friday afternoon safety meeting :)

Thanks!....Lol...good eye....yes a chandelier and a disco ball....there is a fully stocked bar too.... lots of entertaining done..... If you are ever on the island.... :)

Is it BYOSV? (Bring Your Own Safety Vest).

They start anytime after 2pm and usually go to around 6pm....byob :) This Friday will be a big turn out....I send you the address in a pm
