MI: Tag

Didn't see the camouflage the first time viewing. It was painted for a particular mission, but didn't have to go after all.

Roads weren't as busy as I thought they might be since it is Labor Day weekend. Wx was good, though balmy. Dew point was a degree below the temperature!

I took advantage of the nice weather and took a little ride today.

Here is the old tag, and a few shots from a family camping trip we had at that camp ground. If you go camping there make sure to cover your vehicle up. I don't know what the trees are but they seem to drop a lot of sap.

And the new tag:

Really enjoyed myself in Michigan today exploring the back roads.

Glad you had a good ride Joe. Funny that the tag was at a location you stayed at in the past. That was a neat coincidence.
I was in you neck of the woods visiting the Potowatami (sp.) Zoo park with my family the other day. We had only enough time to play in the park. Been a long time since we've been in the zoo area.

Wow, I've been by this tag so many times and didn't even know it.

Nice little 124 mile ride with good weather. Traffic on I94 was busy. Nearly got rear ended when everyone was on the brakes and locking them up. I watched a car in my mirror skid toward me. As he is skidding, he turns right to avoid me and I'm going for the shoulder to avoid him! Everything worked out good thankfully.

I had some snow  on the run to Birch Run this week in the truck so I figured I better take advantage of every nice day we got left.

New Tag:

100_0829.jpg One of my wife's and I favorite winery. Years ago the restaurant was terrific, don't know if that's still the case but the parking lot was full.

I had actually stopped and taken a shot in Saugatuck first, but decided it would be too much of a pain in the a** for anyone else to get to it. Way to much tourist traffic.

Ah, we like wineries. But I'm out. Front brakes went out and insurance is up. Good luck fellas!

Out for a drive today. Located the old tag...

And brought the tag a little closer to home to give you fellas a little extra riding time.

You know? I just learned that this building is going to relocated. I don't know when, but should something happen that makes this tag unavailable, I'll make a note of it here in the thread.

The building is up in the air! It's scheduled to be moved next week. What I could do is take another pic when it's sitting on the new foundation, along with the new address.

See it sitting above the hedges? Won't be long now.

From the toilet with Tapatalk Pro; not really. Seriously. ;)

Here it is...

When the dust settles, I'll get a better shot and one that has the bike in it.

Thought I would've gotten the pic by now. But instead got the flu. So it'll have to wait a little.

Went for rides with my little ones tonight and stopped by the Depot for a couple of pics.

Took a ride through STurgis and found the tag. I moved it a little north. I realize the name of this place might be used around the state so I'll include the zip code, 49337. If you find it they do serve a good burger and have a nice outdoor seating area overlooking a lake. Sunday afternoons are very busy, a band starts playing around 3:00 and it's there's a lot of bikes. FYI. Follow the road north and and take a left to ride over a very large dam. It's only a few miles away.

The old then the new....

Way to go Dennis! Had I known you were coming I would've baked a cake! lol ;)

Looks like a great place for a tag. Very scenic with the lake there.

OK - its been long enough! Here's your Driftwood Bar & Grill in Newago. (Quite a little trek over here from work, in Midland - 180 miles!). Now to find the next tag...
