Dennis, when heading to Arches NP I suggest you take 6/128S off I-70 (I think it's the first exit in UT). It's a beautiful road w/twisties.
Fred,
I have been through there before. Familiar with your route. It is a very nice ride into Moab.

Gug,
Surely you are not going to take I5 in Oregon rather than the Pacific Coast Hiway?!
If/when you get near Alberta give me a shout and maybe we can meet up for a bit.

Heading out Sept 1st for a week,
Are you off yours pills? You give everyone 14 days notice to plan there attack. Have a great ride buddy.
I'll be good while you're gone.
Your pal,
Jeff
Joe, any reason you left off Kansas?
Have fun!
I am surprised that you chose to bypass Bridgeport and Lubbock on your first leg. You will miss some beautiful scenery.
Have a fun trip.
Looks like a straight line out'a Texas, I guess I don't blame you![]()
So Putts Memorial has not been there. My sons and I were there last month on our annual "Trippin Connies" run and could not find it. We were disappointed we could not find it and sign it.I'll be at the Moki Dugway and replace Putt's Memorial canister then over to Moab.

My oldest son dug up the thread before we left and he said he would take us right to it. We looked all over the spot and the area around it, nothing. Well I guess I should have reported it missing when we got back but we weren't 100% sure since it was our first time there. It is a beautiful spot though. Have a safe trip Joe.Not sure when it went missing, George said it was missing in this thread so we need to replace it.
Time to take another ride to Texas...tag Joe's car...maybe his cat...maybe his neglected ST!
Enjoy the ride Joe!!!
