MCL Highway pegs for the ST1300 - New Source Query

I have these on my bike, so I don't need a set of them. I know the back story on the man and the company, and how since his death these parts have become essentially unobtainable. I know these are highly sought after components. I also realize there's someone else who started making something similar, but I've not heard much about them, or seen much evidence that they sold many of them. My question is this: if someone were to offer almost identically made and comparably priced high quality reproductions of the originals, do you think there's still a market for them? Do you want a set, would you buy them?

I would absolutely buy a set, as long as they are comparable to the MCL ones. The other ones being offered now are similar but they mount at the very front of the crash bars and are quite a stretch to reach them. Thanks, Ken
 
I actually purchased a set of the other ones but never mounted them. Would very much consider a MCL equivalent.

Which, at 6'3", happen to suit me, because closer ones wouldn't allow my hip angle to be less than the bike's pegs. That's why any one given setup is not suitable for all riders.

I've looked into manufacturing an equivalent item, but due to low demand it is cost prohibitive. I think I am going to make a few set of the covers, since I have a template.

Could you send me a set of templates. I just finally got some hwy blades and need to cut the covers
