MCL Highway pegs for the ST1300 - New Source Query

BTW -- only reason I have not installed them is because I only have about a 31" inseam and I doubt my legs would be comfortable with the blades. Anybody else with a short inseam ride with blades installed?

Welcome to the ST-Owners forum.
SHOOTIST357 hasn't been on the forum since March 5.
You might want to 'start a conversation' with him as he will
then get an email which should prove much quicker.
Simply 'hover' over his avatar and you'll see, on the lower right, the start conversation link.
Good luck.
Thanks for the heads up.

probably true, but I betcha I can tweak them to work for me. I'm also considering a farmboy engineered setup as well.

Do a search on highway pegs and similar terms and you'll find plenty of home brewed ideas. I even have a post somewhere of a set I made I was willing to sell real cheap.

There are some simple easy options both have positives and negatives.
3 bar system. top and bottom bar bolt onto crash bar this allows you to move the bars left right forward back to get the right leg reach. bolt the 3rd bar on top at the front a simple small bolt in the bar below will work as a stop when fully extended.

2nd option mount a aluminium corner bracket on the crash bar cover and bolt a black bolt through the cover to stop it coming off. your leg can then be rested on the cover against the bracket. however this cant be used in very hot weather as i found out yesterday as the side covers will cook your leg

I have a set of never even opened MCL highway blades as well as the never opened cut covers direct from Honda. Not sure if I am going to install them yet or not. I've looked into manufacturing an equivalent item, but due to low demand it is cost prohibitive. I think I am going to make a few set of the covers, since I have a template.
Shootist,
by chance did you ever get around to manufacture anymore of the blades?
Thanks,
Mike

I am still on the market for a pair of MCL ST1300 replacement blades, specifically need the Right.
Tried to replace with a PSR blade but they use a different mounting bracket. Willing to sell the PSR pair if anybody is interested, does not include the mounting hardware.

Hello there, just bought a 2007 ST1300 and was wondering if you ever decided whether you were selling the MCL pegs and Honda covers?

The original poster sold his ST and probably doesn't check in here very often, if at all. He's a friend of mine, he hasn't mentioned producing new blades but I'll ask him to respond.

Do you still have the par pair? I know it’s been awhile since this was posted

Can you call 303-880-2079 Ken about your ST1300 highway blades
