I HATE mud and those deep puddles like that!
She actually had an appropriate-sized bike, in the 300. Yeah, they are tall.
I started with the BMW f650gs Dakar, no small bike, and later moved to the KTM 950. Very skilled riders can handle that terrain and slop with the big ADV bikes, including GSA's, but I slip a lot in that environment. Slip and fall. Our Alabama clay is ok when dry, but once soaked in rain it is slicker than snot.
This is where I need to up my skills.
I HATE mud!

I remember that video. It made no sense that a podcaster would conduct an interview with only one mic. It was a pretty informal setting for a 'studio'.

Indeed! And they obviously had a sound mixer / editor, just off-camera. I was surprised they weren't both mic'ed with lavaliers.
Even Noraly's one-gal video production crew, has consistently better audio than the "podcaster."
Still, nits and picks aside, it is viewable and listen-able, and even enjoyable. And this podcaster, whoever she is, still has a bigger audience than I do.... so, there's that.

Yeah, it was a terrible production... we didn't even finish it.

Understood on the quality, but to me, it's the content that's important ... and with Noraly, being a great communicator (obviously enjoys explaining things), and her generosity and down to earth qualities, it made for a good interview.

Agreed 100%, but I thought the content was not very good and it was difficult to watch. TBH, my wife probably liked it but maybe I'd had enough Noraly that week. I really like her stuff, but only so much of it. My wife has watched all her stuff at least twice, once is enough for me.

Got an email update from Noraly ... for those who are not subscribed, here ya go

(nothing new on her Facebook page)
Dear Adventurer,

I hope you are doing okay with all that is going on!

The past weeks, my country The Netherlands remained in a lockdown, including an evening curfew now. We’ve had riots and looting… the world has gone absolute mad! The lockdown measures prevented me from recording videos, so that’s why it has been very quiet on my YouTube channel.

Today I filed a visa application, which means that once I got my visa granted, I am going somewhere where I can put life back into my YouTube channel. I’ve got bills to pay after all! So don’t worry, soon there will be new motorcycle adventure videos - I’m doing everything I can to make that happen.

In the meantime, I got to talk to two incredible travellers, who have been traveling the past 6 months and gave me some insights in how motorcycle travel looks like during a pandemic. Check out the interview below!

Lots of love,
Noraly

I hope she starts posting on Rumble (YouTube alternative) and MeWe or Mind (Facebook alternative). There's too much censorship on those platforms.

I started to sign up with the new Spotwalla...and then cancelled when I read this part of their Terms of Service.

I wouldn't think Noraly would have to worry about her videos violating any TOS. I think that's the job of the commenters.

Personally I prefer a well-moderated forum as it keeps the riff-raff and foul language to a minimum. For those needed to be freed of the jack-booted Thugs of Censorship - Parler may still be a thing.

I know nothing of Norway but the idea of there being rioting and looting surprises me. That may just be my lack of international awareness. But I hope "our girl" makes it to someplace more conducive to travel and recording. Not to mention personal safety.

My folks were talking with family back in Holland, there have been protests with regards to COVID lockdown and curfews. Currently the curfew is from 9:00 pm to 4:00am

Me too ... however

Meh...unless your business is porn or the violent overthrow of the U.S. or other governments around the world you're probably safe from Big Brother on YouTube. Some wonder why more garbage isn't rejected from that platform.

It's not.

Amazon, Google, Apple, and others have ditched Parler for their role in the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol Building.

So it's effectively dead.

Back on topic; I noticed a distinct lack of action from Noraly in the past few weeks. This was her FB post today:
