Itchy Boots

Visit her website ... you can also donate petrol or buy stickers to further Noraly's journey
Thanks. I have. I'm not a stickers kind of guy and don't want any on my panniers. But I might put them on a sheetmetal plate something like the Euro guys' (and gals') license plates.

Or with a strong magnet on the inside of a bag and plates on the outside. They're nice looking stickers as that goes.

I'd like to think that viewing the commercials and donations here and there are giving her a cushion that would help cover anything below a catastrophic incident. I have to catch up on the episodes!

I've now caught up to current, after binge watching both journeys and skipping the ads. Now, while I'm doing other things (like surfing ST-O) I tend to open the live chat recordings and let them run with the sound muted in a browser window on one monitor, while I'm doing something else on the other monitor. I often put some other window on top of the IB window so as not to be distracted (or annoyed) by the video part. I can get the same result by simply minimizing the IB window.

That way she gets whatever financial benefit accrues when the ads run and I do not get irritated by the advertising. Win-win for everyone except the advertisers.

I still skip through the ads when viewing an episode for the first time.

I wanted to grab a couple stickers, but it seems the shopping cart does not show up unless you 'sign up' and 'login', which ain't happenin' any time soon.

Noraly has an infectious laugh and has a positive attitude. As others have mentioned her camera, video and drone work is very well done. Editing and putting out the weekly episodes is a bonus for all that follow, almost in real time.

Yeah it's a drag when you start getting spammed with emails wanting to sell you more. 'I ALREADY GAVE AT THE OFFICE!'

A second 'throw-away' email address where you can let junk pile up is handy. I have a couple of Gmail addresses for that purpose but then you're dancing with the Google in the pale moonlight.

It's obvious she has a nose stud, but have y'all noticed she has a tongue barbell?

While sitting in at the tattoo parlor, I've watched folks get their tongue pierced - can't imagine the discomfort one experiences...

I love the cheery "Good morning internet, it's 7..." whatever. I like riding in the morning but I can't be that cheery and ready to go at 7 something at the best of times, let alone morning after morning. I will admit, it does make you want to ride along with her for her day.

I’m glad she’s starting earlier in the day, mostly to avoid the heat. Soon she will have to keep her bike running cool, we used to run oil coolers on our Bonnevillles and use 20W50 in the summer months. I’m sure she will get it figured out.
The crossing of the pass was rather spectacular today!
I’m gonna regret mentioning oil....in my defence, I’m drugged out trying to pass a kidney stone......

It's a job I would tire of, within a couple months.

Seriously? I guess I can't see the downside. Getting to do something you love and make a living doing it sound pretty good to me. Especially in this day and age of inexpensive air travel where you can get away for a break relatively easily. What better way to see the world?

+1. Sleeping in different places and having to pack/unpack all the time would get tiring after a while, at least for me. I love to MC travel/camp, but only for a few weeks at a time.

I noticed her two piercings. I doubt (and will never know) the tongue piercing is nearly as painful as tattoos on the wrist foot and fingers (of which I'll also never know.

Yep, seriously. And here's why:

In 2000 I spent 5 weeks on a bicycle tour. After the first week I was absolutely elated. By the time week 4 ended I was ready to be done. But I had another week to go. To this day, 20 years later, my interest in bicycling has not really returned to the level it was before that trip.

For me, it seems there's a limit to how much of a single type of fun I can have in one sustained burst.

Best of luck with the kidney stone.
Very painful indeed.
Thank you... they gave me strong meds...they predict I will be delivering a bouncy 5mm stone in 7-14 days, not sure the weight....still snow on the ground so I hope to be good to go in the spring..... maybe I should shop for a kidney belt, I wore one when I owned a Triumph.... but the ST is much smoother than that parallel twin was... ;)

Noraly probably has some quiet sponsors - even if only getting some support for her bike's maintenance or parts from the mfr. If nothing else, the response from guys on this website has been very generous, and we cannot be the only fans captivated and donating to her journey.

I'm still in my drugged stupor (hence this comment)....but in todays episode she went for an oil change at a Honda dealer..... She went with the 50 weight synthetic ..... YES! I knew she would figure it out. ;)
