Yes I agree with this sentiment but Mr. Honda retired in 1973. A lot of benchmark Hondas still came went in the last 45 years.I think a classic example of this was when Honda was run by Mr. Honda. If he entered into a particular market segment, he was aiming to own before he was done.
Agree 100 percent. One must remember Mr Honda was an excellent engineer as well as C.E.O. of Honda Motor Corporation. It was expected of new engineers to work in the motorsports side of Honda first before designing new engines for cars and motorcycles. No you are right Honda was a different company back then. Now todays business model is a C.E.O. can run a car company and know nothing about cars.I think a classic example of this was when Honda was run by Mr. Honda. If he entered into a particular market segment, he was aiming to own before he was done.
today's CEO needs to only know one thing: the stock price is all that matters, period. Now todays business model is a C.E.O. can run a car company and no nothing about cars.
He is starting his own museum Coop. Where have you been?![]()
He may have retired, but you can bet he kept involved until his toes turned up (around 1991)!Yes I agree with this sentiment but Mr. Honda retired in 1973. A lot of benchmark Hondas still came went in the last 45 years.
