I had told myself a couple years ago that if I ever bought another motorcycle, I'd get one with cornering ABS and cornering Traction Control. When I traded my BMW F800GT in on a F900XR, I got that.
On June 8th, I went off the road at a high rate of speed.
I doubt I ever touched the brakes. I doubt if the traction control ever engaged. I now wonder if any of that would help for any of us. None of us will ever lean far enough in a turn to engage the cornering traction control. We'll panic first and hit the brakes...probably focusing on the grass/trees etc on the side of the road that we'll momentarily impact.
But...I can tell you that I have cornering ABS and Traction Control and hopefully you'll be impressed by that as an excuse for why I spent so much money on a motorcycle.
