The Tracer is fun, but for distance it doesn't hold a candle to an ST1300. I'm not sensitive to vibration, but a Tracer does vibrate and the ST will easily go another 100 miles before you have to get a refill.Been considering an ST1300 lately, never actually ridden one yet, been over a year since I sold my ST1100, reading through this thread though, the weight and top heaviness don't sound too appealing, maybe Mellow has the right idea with the Tracer GT.

Try raising the rear suspension on the ST a bit. I bet you can get it to lean more readily.I own a VFR800 & ST1100. Long haul on the ST and the VFR for everything else. VFR turns in easier and the ST zips past 18 wheelers by twisting the wrist. It’s bipolar
