add one trailer to the STable

What I like about it is,,, I am thinking about getting another Border Collie and I can see me transporting the Border Collie in a Kennel strapped down on the Kreis Kart/Weigel Wagon...

Most trailers are,,, handy to pull about 11% of the time... I could see me pulling this about 71.7% of the time!!! :bow1:

What you said, Danny! I gotta remember its back there, a struggle for me.

Ash, there are no current plans for mass production but it can be done locally. All ya need is a decent wire welder and a source of metal, plus a Harbor Freight or National Hydraulic supply. Oh, and someone who can sheet break that big piece of aluminum. The plan is simple and easily duplicated, Kreis and Carlos are not in the trailer biz per-se so no copy right infringement worries. Pat in Ohio (sirepair) built his own, with suspension added.

Good idea guys. Wondering how much bounce you get w/o suspension.

No bouce I've seen following Kreis and no bounce I can feel when towing my self , on mine loaded for 2-up camping the whole thing only only weighs around 65# with a tongue weight of about 19# . now you see why it really disappears when moving.
Parking is easy Lisa just picks it up and moves it as I back up ! And being so light you can park and pick it up and move it into the same space to the side for fitting in any spot .

Wow George, no more stack of stuff on the rear seat / rack / tank bag? I won't recognize you on your bike anymore!

Wonder if i need a mud flap on the rear fender now?

As low as that trailer is, I'd put lots of bright stuff back there to draw some attention to it.

How about 4 or 6 Whealans and rig up a timer that would flash them every 30 seconds or so? ;)

Anybody know where some pictures of the bike hitch are located?

Thanks in advance,

Raymond

I'll measure the length today but Kreis prolly knows off the top of his head; mine is the same as his, Gene's is 2" (IIRC) shorter.

Lights are on the menu, I have a second Whalen waiting at home for it. Should'a brought it with.

Contact the builder he will help you out , h2orider (Kreis) talk to everyone !

What is the measurement from the center of the universal joint to the center of the axle?

60". It seems a little bit long but all fits well and tows a charm.

The hard parts (hub, wheel, universal joint, fender, light, and license bracket) are all stock items at various places, Harbor Freight, Northern Hydraulic, I assume Farm 'N Fleet, places like that.

As Gene mentioned, just send a PM to Kreis (h2orider), he'll respond.

With a 1 wheel tail dragger you can make the length from the hitch to the wheel anything you need. I have seen georges and the one I made is a bit longer. From what he said his tows about the same as mine. Like its almost not there..

The biggest diffrence I could see between the 2 was George has no suspention on the trailer. I wonder if that is the cause of his lic plate falling off 2 times so far. Also he went with an open pan and I used a cargo box.
