2018- How Many Nights in a Tent ?

It's been at least 15 years since the last time I camped. And it was with a motorcycle, but a friend (and everyone else) drove up and took my camping gear with them, up to the campground and then back home!

Yeah, yeah, No Brag just Fact!
Great that you can camp that much on 2 wheels and enjoy it!
I figure that you will be the Grand Prize Winner!!

Funny you mention Jackson...I once paid $45/night for a tent spot in the overflow section. Most expensive night in a cross country trip.

Once in Blackhawk, CO about 1994... We called ahead at about 6pm to reserve a site at the KOA. We arrived about 1015 and woke up the host. He had given our site away, because he didn't think we were coming. Try finding a cheap place to stay (with shower), middle of the night in CO mid-July. We ended up in Boulder about 1:30am and got a 2 bedroom apartment just off campus for $145. Found pubic hair between the sheets and a porno mag under the mattress. The office was about 1/4 mile away, we called for clean linen! Good Times...

After dark arrival never wake host, throw down tent anywhere. I've rolled my bag and mattress out in a KOA Laundry room when I arrived late in a thunderstorm. Haven't camped in a KOA in about 20 years but I know when camping - NEVER WAKE anyone, EVER.

Next time I camp with you....I'm gonna wake you early morn (on my departure home) and get a picture of your "mean" face.
Yeah, long time ago, there were 4 of us that needed showers, 2 being women...

Only 4, in a tent. My miles are still up for the year. I need 10000 a year to be .
