I have a 2002 ST1100 and trying to remover the rectangular fuse box cover to the right of the battery and can't get it off. I have tried and pried to no avail, any tips before I do any major damage?
Thank you.
Gary

There should be little 'latch' (tab that inserts into the side of the fuse box).
Get a flashlight and look real close and you should see it (the cover swings out on a plastic hinge).
I couldn't remember if the tab was on the top or the side ... memory ain't what it used to be and too lazy to go remove the seat, saddlebag and sidecover to see! ;)

I want to update and thank all of you who helped me with the fuse cover. I have owed my ST since 2003 and this was the first time I got stumped. Pushing on the bottom portion of the fuse cover did the trick, but I have to admit I thought I would break it. Thank you very much! Ride safe!
Here the page from the owners manual (its for the ABS type though...)
Thank you, that is a useful site.

Thank you Uncle Phil, it was on the bottom, but it did look like clips on either side though.

Don’t pry it- there’s a little catch at the bottom- squeeze it and it pivots up from below if that makes any sense. Like the hinge is at the top ( at least that’s how I recall when I last checked fuses)
Thank you Erdoc48, you were correct and I appreciate your insight and help!
