1300 Clutch fluid cover screw-ed

Maybe not. I still don't know what I just ordered (I could still use another, new, quality Phillips #2 screwdriver anyway...)

Can somebody please recommend an exact specific model screwdriver that they KNOW is
a JIS size 2, and is correct for most of the screws on my 2007 Honda ST1300?
The torque value on the reservoir cover screws is like 2 ft lbs. You could use a 1/8" flat blade screwdriver or the tip of a paring knife and not hurt the screws with that little pressure.

That said it's important to use JIS standard on fasteners. My #2 came from a local hardware store almost 20 years ago.

Replacing the rubber diaphragm under the cap every few years would go a long way towards not damaging the screws on an old motorcycle. Hard, long-in-use compressed seals and O-rings give the DIY guy little sense of applied torque then when low torque values are called for rut-ro it strips or cracks. The other fastener on an ST that people often break is the threaded cover sealing the final drive drain bolt. Replace that O-ring now and then and respect the 9 ft/lb value.

I do have the vessel brand set of JIS drivers. They're nice, but maybe not made in JIS pattern any longer. You can order from their website as well (at least I did a few years back).

I don't believe the JIS pattern is widely used these days. I would upgrade to Allen heads for everything, especially the small hardware. I believe that the new JIS standards are rolled into an ISO standard and used for most screws these days. I'm sure most the bolts on these bikes still follow the original JIS standards due to their age, just saying that these days tools may be difficult to find.
