Great pics. ABS 1100 owners rejoice! Didn't somebody else reshape/bend the bail for clearance? Could that pressure combined with vibration cause a failure of the bulb?

Then there's the issue of alignment. Maybe somebody could go down the road a piece and check the beam pattern. That's likely to show a difference compared to the garage wall.

But you've got LED headlights! Win!

I would think so. Just don't give them your credit card number or password, that's the whole point of using PayPal, not to give out the important numbers.

Actually if you paid with PayPal all of that information would have been included. Are you sure this is not a scam. I am positive when you paid with PayPal that stuff was there

I haven't even ordered yet. This was to get a price and initiate the process. I've heard of this before where a chosen vendor sends you an invoice and then you do your PP bit. I'm just not familiar with it. There's a small PP fee. This is similar to the process some members here use amongst themselves. I think.

Anyway several members have done this with no issue and I've no reason to suspect skullduggery. Thanks for the info.

So Paul, did you not do some bail bending? I found that the fan was not even close to clearance. Likely couldn't have even done the bending if I had not had a spare headlight to work it out on.

Hey Dean. No way to bend the bail correctly while still on the bike. There was some interference but was able to get it assembled, although it was cocked to the side a little bit. I think it's ok but time will tell...

Just installed Friday. Awesome. Got thumbs up from Man-child. Tested them on street at bottom of driveway. Can't wait to check them on commute to work tomorrow.

I wouldn't want that fan cage rubbing against my bale with every last little vibration it sees. I "reconfigured" the bales when I installed them on my ST1300.

Actually, the rubber boot is between the bail and the fan cage. Bit of an isolator.

Yes. Unlike the ST1100 ABS, the ST1300 (either ABS or non-ABS) has no ABS-related equipment near the headlight bulbs.

"Relatively easy" depends on your own individual expertise. I thought it was easy ... in fact, I thought they were easier than the OEM halogen bulbs.
