I love their sounds in the evening!
I could see however, that it might get old when they are nesting that close!

They are noisy here in the mornings when you're trying to sleep with the windows open.

The coo-coo's often result in a reply of shoo-shoo's.

At least Joe didn't say "14 minutes to whisk souflees and 14 minutes to bake."

good morning all. thanks Keith for the coffee. 39F on the dog walk with some stars and a few clouds here and there to see. replaced the radiator in my friends jeep. that took a few hours and made a mess of the garage. tools everywhere. will clean it up this afternoon when the temp should reach 74F. this morning its off to dog training. enjoy the day.

stay safe

and maybe if I'm lucky - turkey bacon.

Update: It did involve turkey bacon.
I oven baked it for ease of doing it. I tend to oven bake real bacon too, since Thing 1 & 1a took our air fryer.
It then ended up slapped between 2 pieces of whole wheat toast with a fat free cheese slice and a handful of iceberg lettuce.
Washed it all down with a glass of chocolate oat milk.
Yum.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the start Keith!

Lovely looking morning outside! 13 hours & 4 minutes of sunshine today here in Woodstock.
Currently 43F high of 56, not quite shorts weather yet!

Yesterday saw the last 7 of the Arbor posts removed, the 8- 6X6’s were buried just short of 3’ in stone free ground! I removed the last 2 with the truck as my back was howling. Miss Judy was busy hauling wheel barrow loads of treasures to the bin.
I don’t know how she persevered living with a hoarder!
I believe I will finish removing treasures from our side, of the south fence today. My back will appreciate that! Then tomorrow will be a trip to landfill with the posts etc.

Someday we will get it done enough to list it!
Enjoy your Sunday!

@ibike2havefun The scraps from the sewing table could be worth a fortune. Yep, the door stops are a real thing. I first thought it was a late April fool’s joke.
Seriously?
I could even do that, with what scraps I have on hand.
Maybe pressure treated lumber would justify "an upsell."

Morning Keith & All from sunny, but still COLD, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 32F, up from 21F, and heading for 49F. Some clouds expected, but no snow or rain until next weekend! Why do they always schedule rain & snow for the weekends? :think1:

A slight breeze right now, but later we expect to see the winds from the NW @ 8 to 10mph.

I doubt if I'll get much done today, we have what our church calls; General Conference, being televised from Salt Lake City, that will take up the rest of the morning and the first part of this afternoon.

Besides, I need a break from putting down the block, which I'll get back to tomorrow.

And since I've decided to hang on to my 2004 for now, I guess I need to start FARKLEing it. :thumb:

Homemade bagels and cream cheese and washed down with OJ. Pepsi to come later!

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

It was Noon, before I noticed that Keith is on Eastern Daylight MEGA-Saving time, thus the morning title of “Sunday coffee and weather, 9 April”

Or maybe, I’m just 2 days behind and it’s really Tuesday!

John

Not to mention the " whoo whoo" of owls.

Very nice, Joe. We dont have nesting doves, but, we have a pretty large Purple Martin colony. Always fully booked come April, usually 72 pair on 3 racks. We fledged close to 300 babies last year. They migrate from Brazil every spring, and they usually arrive here by the end of february, plus / minus a couple of days. All the fledging is over by the 3 week of July, and they migrate back south first week of August. They are very colony loyal, so the same pair usually return, unless they somehow dont survive. The depend 100% on man-made housing, and feed and drink on the wing. Very sensitive to cold weather, as insects don't fly in temps below ~48-50 degrees.

It took us several years to build the colony this big.

Evening all.....

Thanks Keith, but I bet it is all gone and the pot is cold by now.

I will take one of the Dove omelettes please......... Mmmmmmm. :pray1::wine2::think1::banned1:

Up too early, or not early enough to post this morning. Big shopping trip to the big city. Bought the first round of chainlink fence materials for the backyard.
Had to limit my purchase so we didn't overload the poor little Toyota. As it was, we had half a ton of goodies.

Good news...the peach trees have started to bloom. Will post pic tomorrow.

I smell dinner....... You folks have a satisfying rest of your Sunday.
