Same price, but Dillon had 10% off - $37.00. Shipping was $15 and change, including several other parts.

The original was discontinued and replaced with a new part with the same number. Hopefully beefier, but I wouldn't count on it.
 
Hi, looks like a common problem with these units. Does anyone know the correct name for the ribbed cable that the the drive gear runs on to operate the up and down movement. There is a bad design in there between the plastic gear etc. Never mind,
 
Got my parts in. I forgot the air filter, but the bike will get its new thermostat/flush and the new windshield motor early next week. If this were a newer model, I would've had several gears made to offer for sale and I wish someone had done that years ago, but since 2012 may be the last year, I can't see the expense of having a part machined.
