I was once told by a local Italian that it is OK to break the laws of the road as long as you do it with style. Be a jerk and it will land you in trouble.

LOL!! I know exactly what you mean. That's probably Ho Chi Minh City. We actually managed to cross the road at 4:30. Major accomplishment! Takes a LOT of faith in other drivers to step out into traffic with that lot coming at you knowing ( hoping? ) that they will swerve around you. And they do, every time. EXCEPT,....... DON'T GO BACKWARD!!! Screws them up and you WILL get yelled at!
