Great riding temps, but the wind was directly from the south and it was strong. Was coming back from starved Rock heading east on I-80 (from IL 178) and for about a 30 mile stretch it was brutal, until the road takes a slight north easterly direction, near Morris, IL. A few bikers who passed me by were later seen pulling over to the side of the road as one of them suddenly floated over to the left lane, but somehow managed to keep control prompting the group to pull over. I somehow kept going at somewhat of a reduced speed of 60, but had to be vigilant and had to fight the wind gusts coming from the right, which was south. Never held the handle bars so firmly ever before. Wonder if anyone else experienced that travelling east to west or west to east, yesterday.
