If yourge gone for a week you should miss all of the incoming rain
If it's like the last storm I think it will head northeast and out to sea. . . Ride safe!I hope it doesn't follow me all the way to Maine. Or even all the way to Pennsylvania, which is as far as I'm going tomorrow.

Old: ice cream shoppeFinally back in the game after longer than expected. I was happy to make the run up to Thornton Gap for the tag before the heat really started to cook! The historical marker is for William R Barbee, an eminent American sculptor native to this area whose career, health and wealth was cut short by the outbreak of the civil war.

In honor of July being National Ice Cream Month, all my tags this month will be ice cream stops! (You're welcome!) Just down the hill and a little ways in the historic district of Front Royal is C & C Ice Cream. Quite a unique place with lots of classic and "experimental" flavors (I tried the Kale, not bad). If you can't find it just pull into the visitor center for directions (it's across the street).
wish you would be posted sooner. I was out that way today......just got home at 7:30....

Old:Old: a VERY posh resort in what has become a DC suburb:
New: another in an occasional series of tags promoting the arts.
Hint: if you are approaching from the east and reach THIS previous tag location, you are on the right track but you've overshot by maybe a mile. Same side of the road.
See how busy it is.....that is why I love having weekdays off instead of weekends as you can see, my pics are cage free[emoji16]
