The Zumo will handle folder directories but has a limitation on how many gpx files can be in a directory so I broke these out into two.

Is there any way to organize these POIs on the Zumo? Or do they just get added to the long flat list of "Favorites"?

Some of the Honda dealers don't even have "Honda" in their name, so how would I distinguish these waypoints in the list on the Zumo from "great places to eat" and "cigar trimmer museums" ?
 
OKay, I'm dumber than a retarded rock. I downloaded POI Loader, hooked up my Zumo to the computer, loaded the Honda dealers to the Zumo (at least that is what POI LOader said) and can't find them. HELP!!

Got to 'Where To', then 'Extras', then 'Custom POIs' and you'll see them there.
 
Guess now you need a gps for the gps.. LOL

Not as a POI file but you can use them as waypoints. EasyGPS will allow you to upload a POI file to any GPS that will accept user created waypoints. Not quite as handy as the POI function but you still have the info.
 
Aahhhhhhhhhhh!! It's driving me crazy!! I loaded the first Honda file and the the second and only the second shows in the gps.

Create a directory called POIs,

Create sub directories for Honda a-m, Honda n-w, etc... then move the gpx files in those and upload it.

Oh, this will only work if you use the beta POI loader which supports sub-categories.

When you point to a directory, point to the POI directory and it will load all the subs.
 
actually I have a 2610 as a backup in case I give the zumo lockjaw. LOL!! I have the beta......pass the tequila
 
OK, I had the same problem as Coop (only one file was loading), using the non-beta version of POI Loader. So I put all the gpx files in one folder, and they all loaded. Is this going to give me any other problems?
 
No, it's just all of them will be mixed together.. since you only loaded honda dealers it's no prob.. with the sub-directories, they end up being categories on the zumo. So, it makes it a little easier to search as you add more POIs. It won't cause any problems.
 
If I add more poi's to the zumo, will I have to reload the dealers at the same time?
