Ay up me ducks. The Dark Italian Roast is ready. Help ya'selves.
It's cool, how cool Ethel, wow that cool. 35 to 50, frosty and still to start, should be full sun but it ain't.
Gardening will recommence shortly, after another coffee.....obviously. Er'Indoors is already away to Jumpy Up and Down Class at Berwick-upon-the-Tweed. I had my exercise de-icing er motor. That probably means they've salted, pffffffftttttt.... I'll put the stabiliser in The B.
I know you're all way too young to have a proper opinion on this, but, is it rational to shout at newsreaders when they're talking bo......ks. It's just me isn't it, age and all that.
Av a gud un and remember, they can't hear you.
Pffffffftttttt.
Upt.

Good Tuesdei Morning!
Thanks Ray for the STart and the cool introduction!
You and the Mrs are very cool indeed!

Here in Paradise we've got 59 Heits and a hope for a lovely day.
The sprinklers are sprinkling and the new grass sez; "yum!"

Not everything got done yesterdei.
Yours truly had a fall on some rocks while blowing leaves off the farm.
Sprained an ankle so there's no hope of winning that soccer championship today.
*ouch* that hurted. Gravity is merciless.

I think I'll plot the next project here on the ranch while icing.
ecch - yeah, I'll hop right to it!

Y'all have a winderfilled day!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Italian dark roast, Ray.

@nicksacco hope that ankle gets better quickly. In the meantime, should we call you "Hopalong"?

It's a mild 54°F and reportedly clear in Rockville. We're still two hours from sunrise so I'm unable to personally verify the report. A high of 56 is expected so it ain't gonna get a whole lot warmer, and the wind will be picking up, reaching sustained speeds of 14-15 mph from the NNW. Life on the goof course may be interesting. Before heading for the first tee I need to take a load of stuff to the transfer station (dump) to complete a good deed I started Sunday afternoon. Elderly friends are moving from the house they've had for probably 50 years, maybe more, and I promised to help when and as I could; this load of materials (old paint, dead fluorescent light tubes, miscellaneous whatnots) is the first installment on fulfilling that promise.

Ahhhhhhhh the house is quiet now that the in-laws have dispersed. In a few days more I might even feel relaxed again.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them.

good morning all. thank you Ray for the coffee. 49F on the dog walk with a clear sky, a big bright orange moon and stars to complete the show. this morning will be just running around with a list of things to find. I have a second list of stores that might have what is on the first list. it will be a day of lists. all I know is on a list somewhere there is a nap listed on it. the high should hit 72F. enjoy the day

stay safe

morning everyone. still got a lot of mucus/phlegm though it has changed color.
I can breathe good but still have a slight sore throat at times. Went shopping
yesterday for food and was more fatigued and sore than usual. Still gonna call the
Doc today and see what's up.

Thx Ray!
Yes, it is.
Irrational, but Mrs Stu is doing it too.

9˚c/47, overcast, calm. Who’s taken all our wind? This calmess feels unnatural.

Been on a walk.
Leftovers for dinner.
Waiting for my new ecu…

@nicksacco heel fast! Or ancle fast, aaaaah this english of mine….

@STinner Glad you’re on the mend!

Have a good one!

Youse can call me "hoppy" for short!

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Ray!

Keep that ankle in hot water Nick! Not you!

On the road again….
Leaving shortly to return to Woodstock to pick up Miss Judy’s crew for a birthday luncheon.
Cool & sunny, 36/41F with a NNE breeze 7-17MPH
Someday soon, we’ll begin our migration south!

Dave, get better, you’ll be funnier then……

Morning all, and thanks for the coffee Ray.

@nicksacco If you're hoppy, and you know it, 1731413550435.jpeg

It was a wet ride into work this morning, but 10C. It's supposed to drop all day with rain or sn... for the ride home, and dip well below freezing overnight. I really should see about picking up that new car. lol. Looks like Thursday is the plan now as there's not enough time this evening once the Mrs. & I get home, then drive 1.5 hours, do the paperwork, and the dealer closes at 6pm. Oh well.

Lots to do at work. I might even get some of it started. First I have to rummage thru the mess, looking for motivation. It's in there somewhere, but if I can find it I do not know.

Hope you all have a great day and may all your mucus be normal colored.

Obo.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Ray.

It's 50 and somewhat cloudy this morning. The sun will peak out of the clouds in a bit, but the temperature will be falling all day, to a forecast 29 this evening. The forecast also includes 15-25 mph winds.

I'll do some picking up around the house, today, in addition to the gym visit. We'll see about the dog walk.

Nick, take it easy on the ankle.
Dave, I hope that whatever you've got finally releases you from its clutches.

Have a great day,
Steve

Thanks for the coffee Ray.

It's cooler in the 50s this morning, high about 75 but rain will be moving in with the typical cold front to follow. Happens every year about this time, but at least the acorns have stopped falling on the driveway and everywhere else.

Seems they only fall once for every nut. What a pitiful existence, if you ask me. Hang around up in a tree all their life, while the view never changes, only to fall and get crushed under car tires and go skittering across the concrete when pushed into a pile by a blower. And then what? Get picked up in the slimy mouth of some fuzzy-tailed rat and buried somewhere only to be forgotten, or chopped up by lawnmower blades. Or gnawed on by chipmunks.

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not an acorn.

So Nick, wear heavy boots next time you have to blow leaves, but heal quickly.

Dave I hope you can breathe clearly and cleanly real soon.

As I haven't quoted anyone of note recently, I found this for ya... as usual, I don't know the authoress. But she makes sense to me. (Wonder if she's from Alabama?)

Good morning, all, and merci beaucoup, Ray!

'Tis a bright, chilly, blustery day on the Island of Montreal (and off it, for that matter). The sun is shining and doing its best, but the current temperature of 4°C/39°F only feels like 0°C/32°F and the high will be a measly 7°C/45°F with a feels-like of 3°C/37°F. Actually, it isn't so bad - the sunshine...and being indoors make up for the chill wind. The wind, however, has done what it was sent to do, which is to take all the remaining leaves away. Sigh. Ah, well, we'll see them again in 6 months.

Nick, hope you kept that foot elevated and applied alternating ice and heat every 20 minutes for the first 24 hours - it'll reduce the swelling and heal the sprain faster. Feel better!

Right...I really should make myself useful. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning Ray & All from a WHITE, Southern Utah!

Yep, snowing once again! :cautious: Currently it is 33F, with little white things falling from the sky and hoping we'll see 48F, with all that white, GONE! No breeze now, butlater, we could see the winds from the NNE @ 8 to 18mph.

Nick, sprains are no fun. take it easy and let it heal before you push it too much.

Dave, hope things clear up soon for you!

With this snow, I doubt if I'll be doing much outside. I think I'll pull out my electrical stuff so I can see what I have for the tractor shed.

Speaking of that:

I knew it would be a tight fit, but it fits, no problem! :hat3: I was worried about the roll bar being too high, but it cleared just fine.

Now to hook up the power, so I don't loose my battery to the cold!

Chris is making us boiled eggs, with that we'll have some home made biscuits and I'll probably have a Pepsi (still out of OJ).

Anyone :wht13: , have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
