Tuesday coffee 2/18/2025

Before summer is over I am going to drop this into a conversation among friends.

Currently -6⁰ with a high of 5⁰. I'm already over today.

I'll be in the dark under the covers with headphones.

You cats be safe or whatever

The other fun thing to drop in could be:

"The 3 things I enjoy in life are eating my family and not using commas."

good morning all. thanks you two for the coffee. 52F on the dog walk with a few clouds, few stars and a bright 1/2 moon. we have a trip today down to Tobac to resupply our b-day cards. we buy for everyone and mail them out as needed. some of the cards are adult in nature and funny as all get out. Its an artsy kind of town. lots of Mex pottery and hand made crafts to walk around and see. it should be 73F for the high so an afternoon spent walking around should be nice. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning Y'all, thanks Obo and Ray for coffee and starting today's Coffee thread. Enjoying my Kick Ass by Kicking Horse Coffee , nothing like home roasted. Today's agenda, who knows, fridge is getting empty looking so I guess a trip to Safeway is in order. Oh yeah need to get a sample out of my throat to the lab, problem with that is the medicine the Lung doctor prescribed is working well and haven't coughed in two days, Big Yay. Spent yesterday in the Man cave, replaced the power outlet (cigarette lighter)on Lady's left side cover. Have had a new one with a cover to keep water out of said thing, sitting in my toolbox for probably ten years, figured about time to use it. Of course what looked like a Fifteen minute job turned into two hours, ended up taking a lot of Tupperware off to get the old one out. Note to self change screws for Tupperware to the same size headed screws. Can you say 10 mm! Also cleaned the ground wire to the frame, accidently found it trying to figure out why the left side case is more difficult to put on than the right side( probably owner's abilities ). Yeah can't see anything wrong with holding brackets.
Ok, weather,Cloudy 3 C /38 F according to Cell phone, expected high of 9 C/49 F, wind 6 mph from the east. Forecast for the next week shows us warming up to 10 C in a couple of days,Excellent! Stay warm folks, G

Morning all! Grey, rainy and 5C here right now. The only change will be a slight increase in temperature to 8C.

Back to work after yesterday's holiday; in Canada most of the provinces have a long weekend in February. Often called Family Day, I think it's really just an excuse for a long weekend to break up the winter a bit. Managed to get the dog out for a walk after about a week without being able to do so. He was properly thrilled and happy. That needs to be higher on the priority list, both for him and myself. So far, the schedule appears to be meeting free which will let me get some actual work done.

Patty, that is a crazy amount of snow. My daughter was telling us that she braved the elements to hit the gym across the street from her apartment building but her boyfriend who was supposed to join her, took one look outside and said "Nah, I'm good".

Hope everyone has a great day and manages to get in a ride if they can, do all the revenue can do!

Morning Obo, Ray & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 40F, up from 27F and heading for 46F. No breeze yet, but later, we'll see the winds from the N@ 10 to 14mph.

Yesterday I was able to create a engine stand and using the tractor, I put the engine on top of said stand, with tying it down, of course.

I need to go through Partzilla and pull down the diagrams for the part numbers I'll need. I can then go through what I already have, before ordering.

Chris is getting ready to head off with her sisters on Sunday, to go down to spend the week in SoCal, with their dad. Which means, another week of no Adult Supervision. Plus, next week, the temps will be in the upper to lower 60Fs, so I just might have to do a ride. ;)

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ for the morning start. Pepsi(s) top come later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Morning all......
Thanks for the start up and all the fun stories.

Sniff, cough, hack, snort...... pewtui, blow. . . Yep still got it.... But getting slightly better.
Worst part is at night, when you roll over.....and all the snot in your head slowly drains to the other side of your brain, and for a period of time both nasal passages are plugged and you have to breathe thru your mouth so you don't drown. Good times.........

Go have a healthy kinda day,
T
